The Matcha spoon is designed to be able to measure 1 gram of Matcha powder, and is a regular part of traditional Japanese tea ceremonies.
Matcha bamboo whisks are also a traditional tool used in the Japanese tea ceremony. The whisk is made of bamboo and consists of thin, delicate branches carefully arranged and tied together. The whisk is used to stir the matcha powder together with hot water to create a smooth, frothy tea.
Leave the bamboo whisk in a bowl of warm water (approx. 80 degrees) for a few minutes. The bamboo whisk will thereby unfold the ends and be ready for use.
Rinse the bamboo whisk under warm water until it is clean. Place the whisk in a bamboo holder or with the bristles facing down until it is dry.
